Welcome to Extra Effort OKC

The owner of Extra Effort is from Moore, Oklahoma. Jarrett Gardner has a life long baseball career and it started when he was the 19th-round draft pick out of Arkansas by the Boston Red Sox, and spent three seasons in that organization before joining the Saltdogs for the first time in 2006. The San Diego Padres organization signed Jarrett midway through that season, but he returned to Lincoln in 2007 and posted three of the finest seasons in Saltdogs history. Gardner owns the career team records in wins, strikeouts, starts and innings pitched, and he tossed the Saltdogs first-ever no-hitter on June 25, 2009 at Haymarket Park. Gardner was also the winning pitcher in the decisive game five of the 2009 division series against Wichita, hurling six shutout innings, and he gave up just two runs in 7.1 innings in game four of the 2009 championship series.
